I’m embarking on a quilting project unlike any that I’ve ever tried before. I’m making kid’s quilts. Three of them to be exact. But I haven’t met the kids yet, it could be a while before I get to. My husband and I are in the process of adopting three children from Colombia and it is possible that we will travel to Colombia and gather them up this summer. I’d like to have a quilt on each of their beds when they come home. I’ve done a variety of baby quilts, but our three will be between 0 – 6. In addition, because of our ages it is unlikely that Colombia will let us have children under 2 unless they make an exception because we want three. So know nothing about them at this time (we don't have an assignment yet but hopefully soon) And I’m making quilts for my children. Yay!
Want to contribute to the quilts that my children will snuggle up in? If you come across fat quarters (or just 1/4 yard) of 100% cotton quilt fabric that is fun and bright, by all means drop it in the mail to me.
